These longies are about four months in the making, but they're finally done and ready for my reopening on Thursday. This medium pair of longies was knit with Mosaic Moon's "Goblin" colorway on Cestari. This colorway is beautiful with deep rich colors.
I have enough yarn left over to make a matching hat and/or mittens. I hope these longies find a good home soon!

finally reopening
After having my baby earlier this summer, I thought my store would only be closed for a couple of months. Somehow more than four months have gone by. In the past two weeks, however, I've had several people contact me inquiring about customs and whether I'd be reopening.
So I've finally pulled myself together enough to reopen Pumpkin Pie Baby. I'll be offering customs for now, just enough to keep me busy but not overly so. (I'll be completely honest...I love knitting and crocheting, but at this point in my baby's life I'm finding her smile and giggles addicting.) But I'm definitely looking forward to working with my customers again! Check out my reopening on Thursday, October 29th at 2pm.
I'll be emailing my newsletter subscribers a discount code within the next few days. If you'd like to subscribe to my newsletter, please go here: http://hyenacart.com/pumpkinpiebaby/index.php?info=560

Fundraiser for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep
I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. As a parent myself, I know it's one of my greatest fears. I'm participating in a fundraiser for the organization Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. To learn more about Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, you can visit the agency's website here. They provide an invaluable service to any family who has lost a child.
Many work at home mothers have donated items to the fundraiser. To see the list of items and to bid in an auction or buy a raffle ticket, you can visit the fundraiser here: http://hyenacart.com/NILMDTSFundraiser/
You can bid on these longies starting on Monday, October 5th at noon.
